Gear up for the Singapore GP Season!

There will be endless entertainment, top-class events and head-turning shows that will be nonetheless dizzyingly incredible. So, pack some energy because you will definitely find yourself catching your breath as every corner of this vibrant city is an exciting pit-stop!

Below are the full line-up of events in store during the Singapore GP Season!

1. 2008 Formula One Singtel Singapore grand Prix - Already billed as one of the most dramatic and atmospheric races on the calendar, the 2008 FORMULA ONE™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix will debut on an exhilarating street circuit in the very heart of downtown Singapore. The event has already confirmed its place in the history books as FORMULA ONE™’s first race to be held night and its first street race in Asia.

2. Formula One Great Desing Race - DesignSingapore Council rolls out this travelling exhibition – the only one endorsed by FORMULA ONE™ – from Design Museum, London to fuel up the excitement of the Season. Showcasing the works of highly competitive designers, it exposes an intensely secretive industry driven to create the perfect race car!

3. Singapore Biennale - Organised by the National Arts Council, this mega contemporary visual arts exhibition is an assembly of the world’s most exciting and outstanding works, local and international artists, curators, critics and academics.

4. BVLGARI Collection - Bulgari, the contemporary luxury brand, is organising its second watch exhibition in Singapore from 18 – 28 Sep, 2008. The 10-day exhibition will highlight Bulgari's impressive novelties for 2008, particularly, the Diagono collection which celebrates its 20th anniversary.

Both men’s and women’s watches, distinguished by a creative and contemporary style and created according to the most rigorous Swiss watch-making quality criteria, will make their foray into Singapore to the delight of watch connoisseurs and avid collectors.

With over 100 timepieces showcasing the brand’s impeccable craftsmanship and skill in the luxury and complicated watch segment, the event will also unveil some unique and exclusive limited editions created for this occasion and never seen before in South East Asia.

5. Singapore River Festival - The Singapore River Festival will see the historic district dazzle with nightly festivities. Already a draw for tourists by day, many of whom visit for its inherent historical charm and landmarks, the Singapore River is also synonymous with waterfront alfresco dining, vibrant nightlife and exciting entertainment after sundown.

6. Diana Krall Live in Concert - A multi-Grammy winner and the world’s best selling female jazz artist, with over 13 million albums sold, Diana Krall kicks off her Asian Tour 2008 with the tickets expected to go as fast as FORMULA ONE™ cars. Don’t miss this chanteuse’s laid-back jazzy renditions of well-known classics and contemporary songs.

7.Singapore Motoshow - With lots of fast and furious action revving up on the horizon, this biennial event steps up to the occasion and brings in the world’s latest and fanciest models that would stop at nothing to tempt everybody.

8. Amber Lounge - One of the world’s most exclusive party organisers, Amber Lounge is synonymous to the exhilarating action of the FORMULA ONE™ races. This premium event is where race drivers, team principals, team sponsors and international models congregate to wine, dine and party all-night long!
