  8. This was produced to serve as one of the marketing tools for the Centre. The 1st edition of the handbook was produced and delivered in mid-August 2006.

    Copies were distributed to the Commonwealth Secretariat, Commonwealth Business Council as well as to Commonwealth participants who attended the NTO Marketing Seminar in Kuala Lumpur in September 2006.

    Besides, attendees to the CTC organised Destination Africa presentations were also given the handbook.

    The handbook contained information regarding the setting up of the Centre, its Terms of Reference (TOR), the Centre's organisational chart, its corporate vision and mission, branding and the programme of activities.

    The 2nd and 3rd editions are the updated versions which contain forewords by Commonwealth Secretary General, Minister of Tourism Malaysia, Secretary General, Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia and the Director General of CTC.

    The 4th edition is the latest version available which contains recent activities organised and participated by CTC officials. Click here for downloadable version.
     

 

ABOUT THE CTC

The First Commonwealth Tourism Ministers Meeting held from 19-20 March 2004 in Kuala Lumpur endorsed Malaysia's proposal to set up a Commonwealth Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
