Commonwealth Secretary-General visited the Commonwealth Tourism Centre

Secretary-General of the Commonwealth listening to the briefing by the Director General.JPGH.E. Mr. Kamalesh Sharma visited the Commonwealth Tourism Centre on 6 August 2008, as part of his participation at the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association (CPA) General Assembly.

He was accompanied by Mr. Simon Gimson, Deputy-Head, Secretary-General’s Office, and Ms. Geraldine Goh from the Secretariat’s Communications Department. The meeting was also attended by officers from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia.

The Director General briefed the delegation on the establishment of the Centre and its activities. The delegation was then treated to an Asian lunch at a restaurant in Mid Valley City.
