Seminar on Evaluating NTO Marketing Activities

A seminar on Evaluating NTO Marketing Activities was jointly organised with Ministry of Tourism, Malaysia, CTC, and Tourism Malaysia in collaboration with UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

The main objective of the seminar was to learn the know-how and to apply evaluative techniques in marketing activities in order to ensure positive return on investment.

The seminar attracted more than 100 participants, local and abroad, of which 12 were from Commonwealth member countries.
 
At the end of the seminar, the participants from the 12 Commonwealth countries were invited for a short briefing and tour of CTC?s office during which, quite a number of good feedback and suggestions were received by the Centre.

ABOUT THE CTC

The First Commonwealth Tourism Ministers Meeting held from 19-20 March 2004 in Kuala Lumpur endorsed Malaysia's proposal to set up a Commonwealth Tourism Centre in Kuala Lumpur.
