Day 1
Arrive Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Meet and greet by our friendly representative, transfer from Airport for almost 2 ½ to 3 hours drive to Kudat. It is situated on the western-side of Marudu Bay and nearby the Tomborungus River. It is home to Sabah’s most traditional people, the Rungus. Impressive longhouses and skilfully made handicrafts can still be seen around Kudat. Visit the Kg Gombizau or known as “Honey Bee Village” where visitors can wander about the hives placed in the nearby softwood forest and see how the bees are smoked out of their hives. The honey comb is then removed from the hive and the pure honey extracted. Then proceed for village of Sumangkap which is famous for its cottage industry of gong making. Gonds are the most important Rungus musical instrument and played on all festive occasions. After that proceed for Kampung Bavanggazo Rungus Longhouse for check in. Constructed entirely of traditional materials including rough hewn wood, split bamboo and beaten bark. It offer comfortable twin bedrooms off a breezy communal verandah, where meals of local food are enjoyed and cultural performances given. Visitors can join in with the dances, or try their hand at playing the gongs. Overnight at Bavanggazo Longhouse or similar.
Day 2 – (B’fast)
Breakfast. proceed for Kudat's Tip Of Borneo Tour. " The Tips Of Borneo" is Tanjung
Simpang Mengayau, the northern-most tip of the whole island of Borneo the third
largest island in the world is a dramatic beauty. Pantai Kalampunian that is the
approach to Simpang Mengayau is one of the finest beaches in all of Sabah. With
crystal clear waters. Visit Tianangol (Beads Centre) and Tanjung Simpang Mengayau
(Tip Of Borneo). Return to Kota Kinabalu hotel. After check in, free at leisure.
Day 3 – (B’fast)
American Breakfast at Hotel. Full Day Manukan Island Excursion. Proceed for just 15 minutes away by boat from Kota Kinabalu town to explore and enjoy the beach for the day. One could swim or just laze on a quiet beach of pure white sand under bright blue tropical skies. Overnight at Manukan Chalet.
Day 4 – (B’fast)
Breakfast. Boat ride back to Ferry Terminal. Transfer to airport for your return flight home with sweet memory.
