Day 01 ARRIVE KUALA LUMPUR
Transfer from KLIA to Hotel.
Afternoon, proceed for your half day tour of Kuala Lumpur – stops at the King’s Palace, the National Museum, National Monument, Jamek Mosque, Independence Square with its Tudor-styled Royal Selangor Club and the Supreme Court Building encompassing Moorish style architectural influences. Tour continues pass the Railway Station building, one of the most beautiful station buildings in this part of the world. A stop at the Craft Complex before proceeding to the Kuala Lumpur City Centre to view the Pertronas Twin Towers. Tour ends with a shopping spree at the Suria KLCC.
Overnight in Kuala Lumpur.
Day 02 PUTRAJAYA TOUR
After breakfast, proceed to Putrajaya-the futuristic administrative center of Malaysia. The area contains smart buildings incorporating the latest in modern building technology and is representative of the country’s leap into the IT age. Developed to be a garden city as well, Putrajaya’s most striking attraction is the imposing six-storey building housing the Prime Minister’s Department. It represents an avant-garde combination of European, Malay and Islamic architectural styles. Another striking landmark is the Putra Mosque which incorporating the architectural influences of Morocco and Kazakhstan. Other highlights of the tour includes visits to Seri Perdana, the Prime Minister’s official residence and the scenic Putrajya Wetlands, a sanctuary for migratory bird and a recreational area for the city’s residents.
Afternoon return to hotel.
Day 03 MELAKA TOUR
After breakfast, depart on a 150km journey for the historical city of Melaka. The charming, historical City of Melaka is a living museum containing artifacts from its colourful history under the Malay Sultanates and the Portuguese, Dutch and English colonial administrations.
Tour begins with a visit to ‘A Famosa’, the only remaining gate of a once formidable Portuguese fortification overlooking the sea. Nearby are the ruins of the ancient St Paul’s Church.
Tour proceeds to the ‘Dutch Square’dominated by another famous Dutch landmark, the Christ Church. A short distance away is ‘Bukit China’ or Chinese Hill where remnants of huge Ming-era Tombs can be seen. The area also contains one of the oldest Chinese temple in the region-the ornate, Cheng Hoon Teng temple.
Tour continues with a walk through Jonker’s (Antiques) Street where visitors can pick-up pieces of art and souvenirs. The tour is concluded with a lunch of typical Baba Nyonya fare, lightly spiced local food indigenous of Malacca. In the evening, proceed back to Kuala Lumpur.
Day 04 KUALA LUMPUR-DEPARTURE
After breakfast is free day at leisure until time for your departure transfer to airport.
